URSYS, together with CID, had a fantastic time at the Pilbara Summit, where the energy, conversations and enthusiasm across the event made it clear that the Pilbara is focused firmly on the future.
Across the two days, the URSYS team spoke with a wide range of visitors about practical, future-ready communications solutions for remote and mission-critical environments. There was strong interest in 5G-as-a-Service and Starlink connectivity, particularly from organisations looking for secure, reliable and scalable ways to support operations across challenging locations.
As a Starlink Authorised Reseller, URSYS was proud to showcase how low-latency satellite connectivity can help keep people, assets and systems connected where traditional infrastructure may not reach. Together with CID’s expertise in 5G-as-a-Service, the conversations reinforced just how important resilient communications are to the Pilbara’s next chapter.
A definite highlight was our Starlink Mini giveaway. Congratulations to Wendy McWhirter-Brooks from the Pilbara Development Commission, who was very excited to receive the prize, telling us that its likely going to be used for the community centre, but more about that later.
We left the Summit with a real sense of momentum and a strong appreciation for the people driving opportunity across the region. The vibe was positive, the conversations were valuable, and URSYS looks forward to continuing to support safer, smarter and more connected operations across the Pilbara.
