Michael Grant has recently marked 20 outstanding years with URSYS. In a fast-changing industry, he’s been a constant – growing into a trusted mentor, respected leader, and a true pillar of the business.
He joined URSYS in 2006 as a Production Engineer, fresh from the University of Wollongong, bringing strong technical skill and drive.
In 2007, he moved into Network Engineer, expanding his expertise and impact across customer environments.
By 2012, Michael stepped up as Support Manager / Senior Network Engineer, lifting service delivery and the team around him.
In 2015, he became Senior Network Architect / Pre-Sales Engineer. In 2025, he stepped into Professional Services Manager, leading a small team of senior engineers. Along the way, he’s built deep trust with customers and colleagues and remains the key technical contact for our major client of 20+ years.
Michael has led high-profile projects across our client base with complex rollouts and major upgrades running 18 months or more – owning presales, design, and delivery end to end.
He’s helped URSYS and our customers navigate major technology shifts, delivering practical, reliable solutions for some of Australia’s most remote sites.
Most recently, Michael stepped into a Director role, in recognition of the leadership, integrity, and trusted relationships he’s built over many years.
