URSYS Reflects on a Successful IMARC 2025: Connections, Innovation and Momentum

Sydney, Australia – The International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) 2025 has wrapped up last week and for URSYS, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Over three dynamic days at ICC Sydney, URSYS joined more than 11,000 attendees and hundreds of exhibitors from around the globe, cementing IMARC’s reputation as the Southern Hemisphere’s premier mining and resources event.

The URSYS team (Roy and Igor) were energised by the steady stream of visitors – industry leaders, engineers, policymakers and technology innovators – all eager to explore the future of mining connectivity. The spotlight was firmly on URSYS’ cornerstone offerings: Private LEO (Low Earth Orbit) connectivity and Private 5G-as-a-Service. These solutions, designed to empower heavy industries and infrastructure projects, resonated strongly with attendees seeking resilient, high-performance communications for remote and mission-critical operations.

Private LEO connectivity, with its high performance, low latency and robust coverage, drew particular interest from mining operators facing the challenges of distributed sites and harsh environments. Many visitors were keen to learn how features like Data Pooling, Secure Service Lanes and Quality of Service (QoS) could help maintain seamless operations and minimise costly downtime. Meanwhile, URSYS’s Private 5GaaS offering sparked conversations about ultra-low latency, secure architecture and advanced industrial applications – from SCADA systems and IoT integration to real-time fleet monitoring and enhanced physical security.

Beyond the technology, IMARC 2025 was a powerful platform for building partnerships and sharing knowledge. The URSYS team connected with like-minded professionals, from CEOs and CIOs to procurement leaders, all united by a vision of digital transformation and operational excellence. The event’s collaborative spirit and focus on innovation left a lasting impression, with many new relationships forged and exciting opportunities on the horizon.

As IMARC looks ahead to an even bigger event in 2026, URSYS is proud to have played a part in shaping the conversation around integrated communications for the mining sector. The team extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited our stand and looks forward to continuing the dialogue – and the momentum – well into the future.
