The URSYS team (Roy and Igor) were energised by the steady stream of visitors – industry leaders, engineers, policymakers and technology innovators – all eager to explore the future of mining connectivity. The spotlight was firmly on URSYS’ cornerstone offerings: Private LEO (Low Earth Orbit) connectivity and Private 5G-as-a-Service. These solutions, designed to empower heavy industries and infrastructure projects, resonated strongly with attendees seeking resilient, high-performance communications for remote and mission-critical operations.
Private LEO connectivity, with its high performance, low latency and robust coverage, drew particular interest from mining operators facing the challenges of distributed sites and harsh environments. Many visitors were keen to learn how features like Data Pooling, Secure Service Lanes and Quality of Service (QoS) could help maintain seamless operations and minimise costly downtime.
